    You did the right thing, too many recipes dont commit to using the full onion. Do you add it raw or pre-cook it?

    Looks really good! If you would like to try, in Poland, we have some traditional onion buns/bread (there isn’t really a good translation) called “cebularz”. It’s even protected by law like Feta cheese, parmegiano romano etc, so there is only one recipe which allows bakaries to name it as “cebularz”. Its very popular in Poland even nowadays, so maybe you would like to try, here is a recipe jn English:
